Beginning

The moon drops one or two feathers into the fields.
The dark wheat listens.
Be still.
Now.
There they are, the moon's young, trying
Their wings.
Between trees, a slender woman lifts up the lovely shadow
Of her face, and now she steps into the air,
now she is goneWholly,
into the air.
I stand alone by an elder tree, I do not dare breathe
Or move.
I listen.
The wheat leans back toward its own darkness,
And I lean toward mine.

月亮散落一兩片羽毛在田間.
黑麥聆聽著.
沉思.
此刻.

作者簡介
詹姆斯·賴特美國當代著名詩人、“新超現實主義”（“深度意象”）詩歌流派主將之一，生於俄亥俄州馬丁斯渡口，早年就讀於肯庸學院，曾師從大詩人羅伯特·弗羅斯特，然而後來卻轉向“新超現實主義”，五十年代末與羅伯特·布萊等人一起創辦詩刊《五十年代》（後依次改為《六十年代》、《七十年代》、《八十年代》......），使其成為美國戰後反學院詩歌的主要陣地。
譯者簡介
黍黎釋，詩人，書法家，翻譯。中國“80後代表詩人”之一，代表作品有《回到夢開始的地方》、《古井秦簡》、《惹巴拉》等。
