劇情梗概
影片《51號配方》幾乎匯集了當代國際電影界的精英。該片由香港著名動作片導演于仁泰(Ronny Yu，《 鬼娃新娘》“Bride of Chucky”的導演)執導，並得到了大西洋兩岸影壇頂尖人物塞繆爾-傑克遜(Samuel L. Jackson)和羅伯特-卡萊爾(Robert Carlyle)的加盟。況且索尼公司(Sony)旗下的銀幕經典影業公司(Screen Gems)還購得了這部英國製作的影片在美國的發行權。在美國發行時，為了避免因原片名《第51個州》(“The 51st State”)而引起的歧義，故將影片片名改為了現在的《51號配方》。
人物插圖 塞繆爾-傑克遜在這部動作喜劇片中飾演一位美國化學家埃爾莫-麥可羅伊(Elmo McElroy)，他前往英國完成他的最後一樁大生意，向英國黑社會介紹一種全新的毒品製作方法。埃爾莫預備很快地建立起銷售網路，但當他到達利物浦(Liverpool)與一位看上去並不可靠的保鏢普里斯特(Priest，羅伯特-卡萊爾飾)不期而遇時，他的計畫戲劇性地出現了問題，他捲入了一張欺詐、耍兩面手腕的怪網之中。
