影片點評
卡梅隆·克羅的這部影片似乎特意要拍出些道理寓意出來，它講述了一個幾乎什麼都不缺的男人，他自以為什麼都不缺了，但生活卻讓他嘗到了喪失一切的苦痛滋味。《香草天空》你看一遍，未必能看得懂。因為你第一次看的時候，情節的逆轉與變換太快了，讓你看不出個所以然來，剛剛建立起來的看法又被後來的情節推翻了。當然，你看兩遍，也未必真的完全看明白了，本來影片就想跟你賣點關子，不想讓你一眼看到底。當然，無論如何，看著情節在迅速演進，看著帥哥湯姆·克魯斯先跟卡梅隆·迪亞茲床上纏綿，又與佩內洛普·克魯茲柔情繾綣，那種娛樂性是不言而喻的。 《香草天空》與今年的影片《備忘錄》（Memento）、《穆赫蘭道》（MulhollandDrive）很相似，都要求觀眾的精神高度集中，一起投入到猜謎遊戲中來。不同的也許是，後兩者只有謎可猜，前者卻有靚女可看。這種類型的影片，其特點就是你不能隨便相信任何一段情節，因為任何東西都可能是裝扮出來了，任何甜言蜜語都可能是一次新的欺騙。你被搞的滿腦子漿糊，唯一可以安慰自己的就是，影片的主角湯姆·克魯斯自己被騙得比我們更苦，甚至一張俊臉都在車禍中給毀了，不得不整容。

大衛住所的客廳牆上掛著法國著名印象派畫家莫奈的原作《香草天空》。 電影開始沒多久，大衛獨自在空無一人的紐約時報廣場奔跑的場景，並非電腦特效，而是劇組取得了紐約市政府的從未有過的批准——在一個周日的上午封閉了紐約時代廣場。當時廣場上的顯示屏顯示的是小布希的選票更新情況，為了避免對影片產生影響，導演卡梅隆克勞在影片後期製作時修改了這個畫面。
