人物簡介
陳宜周 ,男,江蘇大學教授,博士,博士生導師,現已退休。浙江省餘姚市人,畢業於上海交通大學機械工程系,1995年獲得日本名古屋工業大學博士學位。他長期從事研究生的彈性力學和斷裂力學教學工作。在教學中,他精心備課,認真寫出講稿。在課堂上,他深入淺出,講清物理概念。他在教學工作崗位上奮鬥了四十多個春秋,桃李滿天下。陳宜周教授已培養出多名研究生。這些研究生均有較高的力學水平和分析能力:有的已出國深造,有的已獲得博士學位,有的已成為高等學校骨幹教師。科學研究

1. 斷裂力學中的積分方程方法。2. 斷裂力學路徑無關積分的研究。

獲得榮譽
1.他指導的6篇研究生論文均發表在國際力學雜誌上,為國內少見。基於這一業績,獲得1991年江蘇省優秀研究生教師的榮譽。2.獲1995年全國優秀教師獎和1996年江蘇省紅杉樹銀獎。
3.陳宜周教授在力學研究上作出了重大貢獻。他四次完成國家自然科學基金項目。他先後在國外雜誌發表論文168篇。這些論文發表在美、英等著名力學雜誌 J.of Appl.Mech., Int.J.Eng.Sci, Int.J.Solids Struct., Eng.Fract.Mech., Int.J.Fract., Comput.Struct., Acta Mech.,
Ingen.Arch. 共14種雜誌上。國內雜誌上發表27篇,發表在力學學報、固體力學學報等7種雜誌上。他的論文被國外同行引用達300次之多。曾四次(1993,1994,1995,1996)得到SCI檢索全國前十名的榮譽,在國內處於領先地位。

5.陳宜周教授、林筱雲副教授2008年發表在Computational Materials Science第2期上的論文“Elastic analysis for thick cylinders and spherical pressure vessels made of functionally graded materials”累計被引頻次居於全國TOP 500,受到同行較高程度的關注。
陳宜周教授的研究工作在國際上有較高的知名度和聲譽,儘管目前已經退休,但他仍然心繫科研,沒有停止工作,每年都有大量論文發表並被SCI收錄,為青年科技工作者樹立了榜樣。
