個人簡介
在教學方面，所承擔的教學課程有：《普通植物病理學》、《果樹、蔬菜病害》、《植物保護學》、《植物病原細菌學》以及《高級植物病理學專題》、《基因工程與實用技術》，教學效果優秀，深受學生喜愛。在科研方面，特別是對柑橘黃龍病進行深入、系統的研究，對柑橘黃龍病病原的分子檢測、病原DNA的分子克隆、病原的活體培養、無病苗木的培育及病害綜合防治等具有豐富的經驗。
主持和參加與柑橘黃龍病研究相關的課題包括：農業部公益性行業項目、國家自然科學基金、中美合作項目基金、廣東省自然科學基金、廣東省科技攻關項目等；擔任廣東省柑橘科技協會常務理事；多次出席國際、國內學術會議，了解學科發展的動態，正式發表與柑橘病害相關的學術論文40多篇，培養研究生32名。曾被評為華南農業大學“優秀黨員”，獲得華南農業大學“教書育人”先進個人等獎勵。
工作經歷
1988年大學畢業後留在華南農業大學植保系任教，1993年晉升為講師，1998年晉升為副教授，2009年晉升為教授。2004年11月起擔任華南農業大學柑橘黃龍病研究室主任。
2006年9月～2007年3月、2009年8月~11月先後赴美國農業部農業研究中心開展柑橘黃龍病的合作研究，並受美國佛羅里達大學、美國動植物檢驗檢疫局等單位的邀請進行講學交流，2007年被美國農業部授予“柑橘黃龍病合作研究”特別貢獻獎。2008年遴選為農業部現代柑橘產業體系柑橘黃龍病崗位科學家。
