《這樣說:新視角大學英語口語突破(下)》內容簡介:早期的結構主義教學理論提倡學習者學習語言規則,尤其語法規則,認為學習者學會了語言規則,就可以生成無限的句子。英語口語中的句型教學就是一個典型體現。後來的功能語言學教學理論則強調人際功能和語篇功能的作用,教學重點由語言規則和理想的話語轉向語境和情景。英語口語中的情景教學、功能意念教學是其集中表現。以上兩種教學理論和實踐有其合理性,能取得一定的教學效果,但各有其不足。結構主義理論中的口語教學易忽略語言的實際交際,難以完成理想的交際任務;功能語言學理論中的口語教學涉及的語境和情景,大多與人們最基本的生活需求,諸如談天氣、打電話、去機場、上郵局、下餐館等有關。兩者對語言所載的文化知識的教學都不夠,學生所掌握的談話內容顯得不足。學生只能學會一些固定的句型和簡單場景下的生存會話,而在超越一些簡單的生活場景,進入文化話題交流時,他們往往話語不多、甚至無話可說。這才是真正意義上的言時少物、甚至無物的“啞巴英語”。
