● 計算力學算法和軟體, 包括徑向基函式無格線法、邊界元法、非線性矩陣計算、彈性力學和熱傳導反問題、薄體與塗層結構問題、壓電材料、流體力學的無格線數值模擬;
● 快速計算方法(Fast Multipole Method,FMM)和大規模工程計算;
● 位錯理論, 位錯應力場的數值模擬。

廣州大學教授
1985年獲華中科技大學計算機學士學位,1987年獲武漢理工大學計算機套用碩士學位。2003年-2004年在澳大利亞庫克大學任高級訪問學者。
主要從事信息系統、資料庫及數據倉庫技術方面的研究。近年發表科研論文30餘篇,主編和參編教材3部,主持或參與了省部級科技攻關項目3項、市級科技攻關項目3項、省市級教研項目2項、橫向科研項目6項;獲廣東省科技進步三等獎1項、市教學成果二等獎1項。
