內容介紹
《草業科學專業英語(高)》介紹：
高年級學生在學完大學普通英語課程，掌握了英語的基本語法並積累了5000個以上英語單詞後，應該較為系統地學習英語在科技方面的表達和溝通技巧。本教材正是為此而編寫，希望能夠作為大學三四年級學生在加強其科技交流能力方面的一本有用的參考書。本教材雖然是為草業科學以及相關學科的科技英語教學而編寫的教科書，但也希望能作為其他相關學科師生及科技工作者的一本參考書。
本教材所選的課文涵蓋了植物、生態、草地、牧草、草坪、放牧管理等草業科學主要學科的內容。每一課程單元由三部分內容組成：第一部分為普通的專業課文，目的是引導學生逐漸了解、熟悉草業科學專業英語的基本內容和習慣表達等基礎知識。第二部分為科技英語，由淺入深地介紹英文科技書籍、雜誌文章的構成特點、層次結構、表達方式等內容。本教材還注重知識的實用性，在不同的學習階段插入了一些閱讀練習，如使用索引、儀器說明、實驗指導等。第三部分為專業辭彙和構詞法，利用配圖等手段，結合課文內容，每一課介紹一個主題的專業辭彙。該部分的重點是讓讀者在熟悉簡單專業文章寫作要求的同時，擴大專業辭彙量和了解專業英語的一些主要表達方式。寫作方面，除在前部分的課程單元中穿插介紹了一些常見套用文寫作的文體格式和寫作技巧外，最後一課(第15課)詳細介紹了雜誌文章、英文摘要以及牆報的格式要求、組織結構、寫作要點及技巧。
