人物生平
簡寧·特納17歲的時候，簡寧開始向好萊塢進軍，並於2年後在當時的熱播日間肥皂劇《綜合醫院》(General Hospital)中飾演蘿拉·泰姆普里頓。正是因為這個角色，簡寧在藝術表演上獲得了重大突破，並參與出演了80年代熱播電視劇集《另外一個世界》(Another World)。1982年，簡寧出演了她的首部電影《醫生也瘋狂》(Young Doctors in Love)。此後，簡寧的表演事業呈穩步發展趨勢，先後出演了影片《大班》(Tai-Pan)、《城市騎士》(Knights of the City)、《鋼木蘭》(Steel Magnolias)、《絕嶺雄風》(Cliffhanger)、《情劫》(Stolen Women, Captured Hearts)、《反斗小寶貝》(Leave It to Beaver)、《浪漫醫生》(Dr. T & the Women)、《白衣雙嬌》(Strong Medicine)和《寵物狗》(Miracle Dogs Too)等。簡寧有一個女兒茱莉葉·洛雷妮·岡特，生於1997年。
