[性狀]pH3.065℃,20分鐘完全失去焦磷酸基團生成無機焦磷酸,pH6.7時50%生成無機焦磷酸;中性溶液-15℃至少穩定三個月。鈉鹽25℃每天失活3%,37℃失活6%,-20℃每天失活0.1%。

性質:又稱5-磷酸核糖焦磷酸。在製備上主要有合成法和生化技術法兩種。後者是利用鴿肝中的酶催化下列反應即可獲得磷酸核糖焦磷酸(式中ATP為腺苷三磷酸;AMP為腺苷單磷酸): 核糖-5-磷酸+ATPPRPP+AMP這也是生物體內產生磷酸核糖焦磷酸的重要生化反應。能溶於水,易變性。pH值3.0,65℃,20min全部失去焦磷酸,pH值6.7時,有50%將失去焦磷酸基;其鈉鹽(C5H8Na5O14P3,分子量499.98)在25℃下,每天失活3%,37℃,失活6%;-20℃時,每天失活0.1%。在生物體中,它是組成蛋白質的胺基酸,如色氨酸、組氨酸、絲氨酸生物合成中不可缺少的中間物質。在核苷酸的生物合成中,它是腺嘌呤或次黃嘌呤的前體物質,或作為磷酸核糖的供體。主要用作生化試劑。
