研究方向為套用與環境微生物。包括1,微生物二元發酵及微生物間相互作用機制研究;2,廢水處理過程中的好氧污泥顆粒化;3,新型生物農藥的微生物發酵與產業化。已在Journal of Hazardous Materials,Bioresource Technology, Biochemical Engineering Journal、Enzyme Microbial Technology、Bioprocess Biosystem Engineering、Journal of Environmental Sciences化學學報等SCI 期刊及核心期刊上發表文章30餘篇,其中SCI論文十餘篇。Biotechnology Progress、Bioresource Technology、Biochemical Engineering Journal、Desalination、Process Biochemistry、中國生物工程雜誌、河南師範大學學報等多個SCI期刊及國核心心期刊審稿專家。
