I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.
And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings; There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet's wings.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day,
I hear the lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

作者簡介
威廉·巴特勒·葉芝（William Butler Yeats）（1865～1939），亦譯“葉慈”、“耶茨”，愛爾蘭詩人、劇作家，著名的神秘主義者，是“愛爾蘭文藝復興運動”的領袖，也是艾比劇院（Abbey Theatre）的創建者之一，被詩人艾略特譽為"當代最偉大的詩人"。葉芝對戲劇也有濃厚的興趣，先後寫過26部劇本。
