劇情簡介
《河邊小屋》弗里茲朗後期的黑色電影，仍不失水準，有些鏡頭依舊充滿表現力，例如黑暗中作家的面部特寫，還有其在河中打撈屍體未果，屍體頭髮散開的場面。
ADerangedwriter murders a maid after she resists his advances. The writer engages his brother's help in hiding the body, and then watches as the brother becomes the prime suspect.
