基本簡介
(1)分類學與系統進化。運用形態學、分子生物學、個體發育等手段對無脊椎動物關鍵類群開展α、β、γ水平上的分類學和系統學研究。(2)多樣性格局及其驅動過程。在深入開展內陸水體無脊椎動物多樣性格局(如β多樣性、鑲嵌度等)的基礎上,在不同的尺度上,研究關鍵驅動機制(環境選擇、生態漂變、物種形成和個體擴散)對這些格局的影響。(3)對人類干擾的回響以及在受損生態系統的生態功能。在摸清動物的群落結構、功能和生物多樣性,及甄別驅動動物分布的關鍵環境要素的基礎上,剖析群落對人類干擾(如土地利用、全球氣候變化)的回響。在此基礎上,構建基於無脊椎動物的生態系統健康評價標準體系,為我國嚴重富營養化水體的治理提供科學和技術支撐。(4)河流無脊椎動物生態學研究。選擇我國不同地域的典型河流,系統開展無脊椎動物的生態學研究,以期實現我國河流無脊椎動物生態學研究的全面躍升。在此基礎上,探討重要河流理論在我國河流系統的普適性及特殊性,為我國流域的綜合管理與可持續發展提供科學依據。(5)瀕危無脊椎動物的致危過程和機制。
