作者介紹
泰瑞?伊格頓(Terry Eagleton)作者目前是曼徹特大學英國與美國研究學系文化理論教授與John Rylands院士，曾任牛津大學英國文學Thomas Warton講座教授。其由Blackwell出版的著作包括：《後現代主義的幻象》（The Illusions of Postmodernism,1996）、《文學理論導論》（Literary Theory: An Introduction,1996）、《美學的意識形泰》（The Ideology of the Aesthetic,1990）與《十九世紀愛爾蘭的學者與反叛者》（Scholars and Rebels in Nineteenth-Century Ireland,1999）
戲劇方面的著作：《聖奧斯卡及其他戲劇》（St Oscar and Other Plays,1997）與Stephen Regan所編的《伊格頓讀本》(Eagleton Reader,1997)。Eagleton所編的（與Stephen Regan）《Blackwell文學理論手冊》（The Blackwell Companion to Literary Theory）於2001年出版。
