個人簡歷和過去的科研概況: 1998年4月中國科學院物理研究所博士畢業。 1998年5月至2002年4月在香港科技大學物理系作訪問學者, 從事博士後研究。 2002年8月任北京師範大學物理系教授。2004年入選教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計畫。2008年當選國家傑出青年。 2011年9月任北京理工大學物理學院教授。
研究方向
多年來一直致力於光子晶體和低維納米結構的物理特性及其套用研究,並作出了多項創新成果。
主要貢獻
首次在光子準晶中觀察到了負折射現象,並在國際上率先利用二維光子晶體超稜鏡實現了對兩種極化波的同時聚集成像。通過嚴格數值模擬首先在聲子晶體中觀察到負折射現象,並發現了自旋子的負折射。在無序動力學中率先從理論上揭示出準一維到三維的動力學交叉行為,後被實驗所證實。發展出了在強局域化中分析弱局域化的統一理論。提出了利用帶邊場"工程"光子帶隙的辦法,並被實驗證實。在12重準晶中發現了大的絕對光子帶隙,率先在鐵磁藕合雙結中發現超過90%的巨隧穿磁電阻。已在國內外核心期刊上發表論文60餘篇,其中有34篇發表在Phys.Rev.Lett、Appl.Phys.Lett.和Phys.Rev.三個期刊上。論文被SCI引用近500次,其中被他人引用超過350次,單篇他人最高引用達到100次。

目前主要的科研方向包括:(1)光子晶體及其無序系統中的物理特性研究; (2)波在左手材料中傳播反常特性研究;(3)介觀物理研究(主要側重與自旋相關的散射、輸運和光學特性)。

主持並完成國家教委留學回國基金波在有序和無序介質中傳播。
