曾在美國、日本、澳大利亞等國做訪問研究工作,參與完成多個自然科學基金、軍工與部委項目,先後組織過多個國際會議。近年來致力於綜合集成與知識科學研究。曾獲1995年多目標決策分析套用威立(Wiley)榮譽提名獎(論文)、1995年度中國科學院院長獎學金特別獎、1999年中國科學院科技進步二等獎,並多次獲得會議優秀論文獎。
研究方向:綜合集成(Meta-synthesis)、決策支持系統(decision support systems)、知識科學 (knowledge science)
