叉牙牛眼鯛

叉牙牛眼鯛包括牛眼鯛(Boopsboops)和叉牙牛眼鯛(Boopssalpa)兩部分。身體橢圓，頭部短小，吻部呈圓鈍形，短小；上唇稍稍突起。雙側門齒是單列的，上面的牙齒是鋸齒狀的，下面的牙齒是平整的從它們的臉部到單個的三角點。
