《Scarborough Fair》也叫《斯卡布羅集市》是20世紀60年代美國最受大學生歡迎的歌曲、1968年奧斯卡獲獎片《畢業生》（達斯汀·霍夫曼主演，其成名作）中的主題曲，由Paul Simon（保羅·西蒙）和Art Garfunkel（加芬克爾）作詞作曲。歌曲原唱為三人，除Simon與Garfunkel之外，還有美國歌壇大師Andy Williams（安迪威廉士），其三人天衣無縫的配合以及絕美的演唱，成為永恆的經典，莎拉·布萊曼有翻唱的版本，收於2000年的專輯《La Luna》。
歌曲歷史
《Scarborough Fair》原是一首古老的英國民歌，其起源可一直追溯到中世紀，保羅·西蒙在英國學習期間從英國民歌歌手Martin Carthy（馬汀·卡西）處學會了這首民歌，並對其進行改編，加入了自己創作的一首《The Side of A Hill》作為副歌。由加芬克爾（Art Garfunkel）作曲並演唱的副歌做為歌曲的和音在聽覺的感受上不是特彆強烈，因此很多人對副歌不太留意，認為副歌只是歌唱的一種處理形式，實際上副歌卻是整個歌曲的靈魂，賦予了歌曲以反戰的主題。該歌曲還被用作電影《畢業生》的插曲，大受20世紀60年代美國大學生歡迎。

斯卡波羅鎮
Scarborough是中世紀英格蘭約克郡東北海岸的一座濱海小鎮，是由於維京人經常的登入、作一些交換而形成的一個定期集市（Fair）。英格蘭國王亨利三世在1253年1月22日簽署了一份皇家憲章允許Scarborough鎮於每年8月15日至9月29日期間舉行集市。在歷史上在幾百年的時間裡，小鎮從每年的8月15日開始會有一個當時連續交易時間最長（45天）的集市，吸引著來自全英格蘭甚至全歐洲的商人。直到1383年，Scarborough Fair的繁榮急劇下降。
歌曲原型
