科研項目
我們實驗室長期以來從事分子生物學的研究工作。近年來的研究工作主要集中在HSF1 在神經
細胞生長及凋亡的功能。
實驗室主要科研項目如下:
(1) 轉錄因子HSF1 在細胞體內的氧化還原調控及功能。
(2) 伴侶蛋白( Chaperones)及蛋白摺疊對神經細胞的保護作用。
(3) 神經細胞中HSF1 的調控與功能。
主要學術成就
我們實驗室長期以來接受美國國家衛生總署(NIH)及國家科學基金會NSF 的支助。我們是最
早發現熱應激反應與細胞老化與有關的實驗室。這項結果已為許多實驗室證明,並認為是生物
老化的一個重要的分子標誌。我們實驗室開創研究HSF1 在神經受創復原的作用對脊髓再生作
出理論上的貢獻。我們實驗室畢業有10 位博士,12 位碩士,並訓練了8 位後博士。
