內容簡介
本教材是英語口語系列的入門基礎階段教材，以中老年人英語學習特點為依據，以實踐運用為目的，遵循英語口語學習的規律，選取了生活中息息相關的十個話題，分別是：見面寒暄,自我介紹，再見告別，問路指路，接打電話，預約預定，日常購物，餐館就餐，賓館入住，飛機出行。雖然教材內容不多，但十分貼近生活，與實際聯繫緊密，貴在靈活運用，舉一反三。教材在每單元的學習中都設計了話題熱身、重點辭彙和句型講解、對話學習、情境練習、知識拓展、文化角、學唱英文歌等8個環節，意在採取不同形式，激發中老年人學習英語的興趣，並由淺入深地引導學員們進行語言的學習和運用，由此提升他們英語學習的自信，體會用英語交流的欣喜和成就感。本教材適合年齡較大的英語初學者，特別適合作為社區教育培訓教材，也可以作為老年大學培訓教材。
