簡介
協會的業務主管單位是國務院國有資產監督管理委員會。中國工程機械工業協會是由原中國工程機械工業協會與原中國建設機械協會合併而成。現有會員單位2100多個，行業覆蓋率達85%以上。會員包括機械、城建、交通、鐵路、冶金、煤炭、建材、石油天然氣、水利、電力、林業、兵器、航空等10多個行業以及解放軍總裝備部的有關單位，遍布全國除台灣、西藏以外的各省、市、自治區。
中國工程機械工業協會按產品類型和工作性質成立了29個分會和工作委員會。協會會員企業的產品包括：鏟土運輸機械、挖掘機械、起重機械、工業車輛、路面施工與養護機械、壓實機械、鑿岩機械、氣動工具、混凝土機械、掘進機械、混凝土製品機械、樁工機械、市政與環衛機械、高空作業機械、裝修機械、鋼筋及預應力機械、軍用工程機械、電梯與扶梯、其它專用工程機械、工程機械配套件等二十大類。
協會的宗旨
是為企業、政府及用戶服務，促進中國工程機械行業的發展。協會的任務是維護會員合法權益，反映會員願望與要求，協調行業內部關係，貫徹執行國家法律、法規和政策，制定行規、行約，提出有關促進行業發展的政策性建議，協助政府進行行業巨觀管理，進行行業發展規劃的前期工作，在政府和企業之間起橋樑和紐帶作用。協會與企業及用戶聯繫密切，積極為企業及用戶服務，在規劃、信息、統計、展覽、產品開發、市場、組織結構調整、用戶服務、質量、諮詢、價格等方面做了大量工作，與國外同行業協會和企業建立了廣泛的聯繫，並為我國企業引進外資、引進先進技術、開展國際技術合作和交流、提高企業的經濟效益和產品質量做出了應有的貢獻。

ThecurrentCCMAistheconsolidationofformerCCMAandChinaBuildingMachineryAssociation.CCMAnowhasmorethan2，100members,coveringover85%ofthewholeindustry.Themembershipsincludetherelevantunitsfrommorethan10sectorssuchasMachinery,UrbanConstruction,Transportation,Railway,Metallurgy,Coal,BuildingMaterials,OilandNaturalGas,WaterConservancy,Electricpower,Forestry,MilitaryIndustryandAviation,distributedatalltheProvinces,MunicipalitiesandAutonomousRegionsexceptforTaiwanandTibet.
CCMAhassetup29Bureausorcommitteesaccordingtotheproductcategoriesandworkingperformance.Theproductsofthemembershipsinclude20CategoriessuchasEarthMovingEquipment,ExcavatingEquipment,LiftingEquipment,IndustrialVehicles,PavementandMaintenanceEquipment,CompactionEquipment,RockDrillingEquipment,PneumaticTools,ConcreteEquipment,BoringEquipment,ConcreteProductEquipment,PilingMachinery,MunicipalandUtilityEquipment,ArialWorkingEquipment,DecorationEquipment,Re-barandPre-stressedConcreteMachinery,ConstructionMachineryforArmy,railwayconstructionmachinery,Elevatorandescalator,OtherSpecializedConstructionEquipment,PartsandComponentsforConstructionMachinery.
TheAssociationaimstoprovideservicestoenterprises,governmentandcustomersandtostimulatethedevelopmentofChineseconstructionmachineryindustry.TheTasksoftheAssociationaretoprotectthelegalrightsofthememberships,reflectthewillsandrequirementsofmemberships,coordinatetheinternalrelationswithintheindustry,carryoutthestatelaws,regulationsandpolicies,stipulatetherulesandspecificationsfortheindustry,putforwardthepolicysuggestionsstimulatingtheindustrydevelopment,assistthegovernmenttoperformthemacroindustrymanagement,fulfillthepreparatoryworkofindustrydevelopmentplanningandplaythebridgingandliaisonrolebetweengovernmentandenterprises.
TheAssociationhascloserelationswithenterprisesandcustomersandproactivelyservestheenterprisesandcustomers.TheAssociationhasdonelotsofworkinsuchaspectsasplanning,information,statistics,exhibition,productresearchanddevelopment,marketing,organizationaladjustment,customerservices,quality,consultingandpricing.TheAssociationhasestablisheswidecontactswithforeignassociationsandenterprisesinthisindustryandcontributedtotheadvancestechnologyintroduction,introductionofforeignfunds,internationaltechnicalcooperationandexchange,andtheimprovementofenterprises’economicbenefitsandproductquality.
