作者簡介
張順洪，中國社會科學院世界歷史研究所所長，研究員，1983年武漢大學歷史系畢業，獲學士學位；1989年英國倫敦大學畢業，獲歷史學博士學位。1990年到世界歷史研究所工作。主要研究領域為英帝國史、中英關係史。主要著作有：《大英帝國的瓦解》(張順洪等著)、《英美新殖民主義》(合著)。代表性論文有：《馬戛爾尼和阿美士德對華評價與態度的比較》、《論英國的非殖民化》、《戰後英國關於殖民地公職人員的政策》、《關於殖民主義史研究的幾個問題》、《英屬東非公職機構本土化初考》；英文論文有:‘HistoricalAnachronism：The Qing Court's Perception of and Reaction to the Macartney Embassy'，'British Imperialism and I)ecolonization：A Chinese Perspeetive'。
