P.Diddy本名Sean “Puffy” Combs的P. Diddy(原藝名Puff Daddy，2001年更名為P. Diddy)，對90年代以降風起雲湧的嘻哈/饒舌狂潮有其舉足輕重地位。
19歲獲聘為Uptown廠牌A&R主管的P. Diddy，1991年以參與Mary J. Blige、Jodeci幕後企宣的才華而深獲樂界矚目、1994年只手創立Bad Boy音樂廠牌，旗下藝人從最早入陣的The Notorious B.I.G.、Craig Mack到隨後加盟的Faith Evans、Carl Thomas、112等陣容，逐漸在市場上展現其影響力，後來演變成他的媒體帝國。除了自己與廠牌家族成員合力打造的《No Way Out》、《Forever》、《The Saga Continues》等超強大碟外，P. 專輯圖代表作《I will be missing you》：puff daddy在1997年七月推出他個人的首張專輯《no way out》，專輯中根據police經典名曲《every breath you take》所改編而成的這隻《i\'ll be missing you》是向puff daddy的好友notorious b.i.g.致敬的作品，歌中的女聲正是big的遺孀.這首單曲於1998年推出後，幾乎在全球同時拿下冠軍座座。
