創作背景
蠢朋克樂隊發行該首歌曲的目的是想讓大家振作起來。他們認為在現實生活中，人們想要的是歡樂和派對，而且每個人都沉醉其中。這種感覺就像是他們點燃了一根火柴，燃起了人們的熱情 。
蠢朋克與菲董《Get Lucky》的製作大約歷經了一年半的時間。尼爾·羅傑斯在聽了《Get Lucky》的小樣帶以後，覺得除了鼓的聲軌以外其他聲軌元素都應減弱，這樣他才能在小樣中加入適合的吉他部分 。在羅傑斯完成了吉他部分過後，傻朋克二人又重新錄製了Nathan East的貝斯部分以配合曲中羅傑斯的吉他部分 。
法瑞爾·威廉士在麥當娜的專輯派對中聽聞了蠢朋克錄製專輯一事，主動在巴黎與蠢朋克進行了會面。由於蠢朋克極其追求完美，威廉士錄很多遍，而且有些特定的地方每一遍還要錄出不同的感覺以供蠢朋克挑選 。

歌曲鑑賞
《Get Lucky》主打復古，是對迪斯科的發揚光大 。它融合了20世紀80年代的迪斯科，以及20世紀90年代的流行R&B曲風，再加入他們擅長的各種無中生有的音色，也恰如其分地詮釋了專輯《Random Access Memories》的主旨。即使是第一次聽蠢朋克樂隊，聽眾也會和他們一起搖擺起來 。
《Get Lucky》中，蠢朋克樂隊用出色的演奏技巧將簡單流暢的鏇律不斷重複，卻依舊錶現出豐富的層次。歌曲搭配法瑞爾·威廉士沙啞性感的R&B男聲，以及尼爾·羅傑斯的Hooker，不經意就讓整個樂壇為之傾倒，也讓那些流水線上的電音舞曲相形見絀 。
