創作背景
《Lovers’Concerto》，中文名是《戀人協奏曲》，改編自巴赫一首G大調小步舞曲，這首載於巴赫的太太安娜·瑪德萊娜（Anna Magdelena Bach）練習彈琴用的筆記本，編號BWV Anh 114。現已考證出，它其實不是巴赫的作品，而是同時代另一位作曲家Christian Petzold（克里斯蒂安·佩措爾德） 的作品。這首作品典雅、優美、動聽，作為鋼琴學習者的入門練習曲而廣為人知。1965年，美國一個女聲合唱組合"The Toys"的女聲合唱團，將其改編並填詞，命名為 “A Lover Concerto”， 結果大受歡迎，成為當年排行榜的耀眼明珠。
小步舞曲是一種宮廷舞，三拍子，風格優雅。Toys的改編很與眾不同，三拍子改為四拍子，使旋律更為突出曲調變得優美，抒情化，改編作品很快風靡，有很多歌手翻唱，並有各種再改編器樂版問世，比較有名的是上世紀80年代，雷射音樂碟剛剛流行時，Denver Music Inc.出版的系列輕音樂CD，其中最重要的作品之一就是這首《Lover's Concerto》；香港歌手陳慧琳也有翻唱。
