鯨類保護生物學學科組

鯨類保護生物學學科組的前身是1978年秋成立的白鱀豚研究組。本學科組致力於白鱀豚、長江江豚、中華白海豚和揚子鱷等國家重點保護水生珍稀野生動物的保護生物學研究,重點研究瀕危動物致危的內部與外部機理,種群動態監測理論和方法,小種群生物學和物種復壯理論,瀕危動物繁殖理論和技術。

基本簡介

鯨類保護生物學學科組的前身是1978年秋成立的白鱀豚研究組。本學科組致力於白鱀豚、長江江豚、中華白海豚和揚子鱷等國家重點保護水生珍稀野生動物的保護生物學研究,重點研究瀕危動物致危的內部與外部機理,種群動態監測理論和方法,小種群生物學和物種復壯理論,瀕危動物繁殖理論和技術。圍繞物種保護問題,深入開展種群生態學、繁殖生物學、聲學和行為學,以及保護遺傳學研究,重點解決自然遷地保護和飼養繁殖的理論及實踐問題。本學科組擁有占地2萬平方米的白鱀豚館和3千平方米的實驗樓,現有生態學、聲學和行為學、組織學和生理學、水化學以及分子生物學實驗室。

白鱀豚館內飼養有5頭長江江豚。現承擔國家基金(重點項目、面上項目及青年項目)、國家重點研發專項計畫子課題、農業部長江江豚保護行動計畫專項、公益性行業(農業)研究專項子課題、國際合作及地方委託等項目20餘項。

目前,本學科組正開展如下研究:1)人工飼養及半自然條件下長江江豚繁殖理論與技術研究;2)長江江豚自然遷地保護研究;3)自然條件下長江江豚及中華白海豚種群數量監測及棲息地保護研究;4)長江江豚及中華白海豚的瀕危機理與保護對策研究;5)江豚和中華白海豚的聲學及行為生態學研究;5)江豚的保護遺傳學、分子生態學、適應性進化及腸道微生物研究;7)揚子鱷、大鯢及海豹等珍稀水生動物聲行為研究;8)涉水工程、水下噪聲對珍稀水生哺乳動物影響的評估及保護對策研究。

儀器設備

較完備的生理學和分子生物學儀器,聲信號記錄及分析系統,行為數據記錄及存貯系統,野外生態考察、動物跟蹤及數據採集系統。
