陳旭東[中山大學教授]1988年畢業於廈門大學化學系高分子專業，
1991年畢業於中山大學高分子所，獲碩士學位，
1991～1994年在重慶西南師範大學化學系工作，
1997年畢業於華南理工大學高分子材料科學與工程系獲工學博士學位，
1997～1999年在中山大學材料科學研究所從事博士後研究，
1999年7月留校在高分子研究所工作。
2012年7月起任中山大學化工學院副院長
主要研究方向：高分子合成與改性
講授的主要課程：高分子設計與製備、高分子進展
學術與社會兼職：
現擔任廈門大學阻燃材料福建省重點實驗室學術委員、西南大學高分子材料研究所所長、廣東石油學會理事、廣東省橡膠學會理事、廣東省化工學會精細化工委員會委員，並受聘為國家自然科學基金委高分子材料學科評審組第十四屆委員。
科研項目
聚丙烯表面改性劑的合成及用-廣東省博士後科學基金項目；
控制擴散聚烯烴表面改性劑的合成及套用-廣東省自然科學基金項目。
獲獎情況
榮獲1992～1993年度西南師範大學自然科學優秀成果獎；
1996年度廣東省高教廳科技進步二等獎（第三獲獎人）。
