長靴查理難於啟齒告知這些追隨者工廠即將倒閉，背負著巨大壓力，查理輾轉各地處理庫存，並在陌生之地邂逅了“變裝皇后”蘿拉。雖然查理不能接受蘿拉的變裝嗜好，但他迅速發覺在變裝癖的人群中蘊藏著巨大商機，因為沒有鞋廠為這特殊群體製作能夠承受男性體重的女式長靴。查理請蘿拉作顧問，回到家鄉後抵押了房產，說服守舊的工人和未婚妻，開始孤注一擲，甚至期待自己的產品能夠走上米蘭的T台。
