2008年7月畢業於中國科學院地理科學與資源研究所環境科學專業，獲理學博士學位，同年進入中國科學院地球環境研究所博士後流動站，2010年10月出站並留所工作，2011年1月晉升為副研究員，2017年晉升為研究員。近年來，主要從事黃土高原及周邊沙地近代生態環境的演變、陸地表層碳循環、生態退化及恢復等方面的研究。
