2000 年於中南大學信息工程學院自動化專業獲學士學位,2003 年於華南理工大學電力學院控制理論與控制工程專業獲碩士學位,2008 年於香港理工大學電機工程學系獲博士學位。2003 年至2005 年,於廣州智光電氣有限公司任開發工程師;2008 年至2009 年,於香港理工大學電機工程學系任副研究員;2009 年至2010 年,於香港理工大學電機工程學系從事博士後研究。自2010 年任教於華南理工大學電力學院,同年晉升為副教授,
