詹妮弗 希爾詹尼弗.希爾出生於澳大利亞的墨爾本，1981年畢業於拉籌伯大學，第二年隨現役軍人的未婚夫移居湯斯維爾，她也於1986年加入軍隊預備役。作為微生物學家，詹尼弗.希爾在礦業公司、第一產業部、詹姆斯庫克大學、湯斯維爾醫院等多個部門工作了23年。
詹尼弗.希爾熱愛東方文化,讚賞中國近期為推動經濟發展和維護世界和平而做出的努力，他近年來一直積極推動澳大利亞與中國的經濟和文化合作,並親身投入到中國政府所倡導的21世紀海上絲綢之路的合作項目中。2015年三月,希爾市長接見了廣東商貿物流代表団，期間大力支持湯斯維港與惠州港締結姊妹港，開通由廣東省物流行業協會所規劃的中澳活畜物流大通道。
詹尼弗.希爾宴請廣東省物流行業協會代表團詹尼弗.希爾有兩個孩子，23歲的女兒和18歲兒子。她熱愛湯斯維爾及北澳大利亞熱帶生活。在個人喜好方面，她
是一個汽車愛好者，是本土青少年體育俱樂部的熱心支持者；在國家運動層面,她支持
NRL牛仔隊，同時是AFL俱樂部一個狂熱球迷。

Background
CouncillorHillwasbornandeducatedinMelbourne,Victoria,andgraduated
fromLaTrobeUniversitywithaBachelorofSciencein1981.Thefollowing
yearshemovedtoTownsvillewithherfiancéwhowasenlistedinthe
AustralianArmy.
CrHillhas23years’experienceasascientistwithminingcompanies,the
DepartmentofPrimaryIndustries,JamesCookUniversityandTownsville
Hospital.ShehasalsocompletedaMastersofPublicHealthandTropical
MedicineatJamesCookUniversity,whichincludedmanagement,economics
andaccounting.
In1986shejoinedtheArmyReserve,firstservingintheRoyalCorpsof
AustralianElectricalandMechanicalEngineers(RAEME),maintainingand
recoveringdefencevehicles,andthenbecomingoneofthefirstwomenin
Australiatocompletefullinfantrytraining.
CrHillhas12years’serviceinlocalgovernment.In2012,shewaselected
thefirstfemalemayorofTownsville.
FamilyandInterests
CrHillismarriedwithtwoadultchildren,a23-year-olddaughterandan18-
year-oldson.SheispassionateaboutTownsvilleanditstropicallifestyle.She
isacarenthusiastandisakeensupporterofjuniorsportingclubsandschool
P&Ccommittees.Onthenationalsportingscene,shesupportstheCowboys
NRLteambutisstillanavidfanofherAFLclub,Collingwood.Sheloves
readingandenjoysstrategygames.
JennyHillisanAustralianpolitician,currentlyservingastheMayorofTownsville,[1]whichisthe18thlargestlocalgovernmentareainAustralia.ShewaselectedtothepositionduringtheQueenslandLocalGovernmentelectionsheld28April2012.PriortoservingasMayor,JennywasacitycouncillorandpreviouslyheldthepositionofDeputyMayor,underthepreviouspre-amalgamationTownsvilleCityCouncilintheLaboradministrationofTonyMooneybetween2007and2008.
HillcametoTownsvilleasthewifeofasoldierin1982,expectingtostayonlybriefly.Sheworkedasamicrobiologist微生物學家,andlaterreceivedaMaster'sdegreeinPublichealth.ShewasfirstelectedtotheTownsvilleCityCouncilin1997.SheisamemberoftheLaborParty.[2]
