2008年12月畢業於中國科學院蘭州化學物理研究所並獲理學博士學位。
2009-2011年在日本國立物質材料研究所(National Institute for Materials Science)國際納米材料研究中心(International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectioncs)任特別研究員(博士後)。
2011年10月入選中科院“百人計畫”引進國外傑出人才到中科院蘭州化學物理研究所工作,任創新研究員,能源與環境納米催化材料組課題組長,2012年9月獲得擇優支持。
主要從事金屬/半導體納米催化材料結構及功能設計合成,並對其光催化、光電轉換、電催化以及催化制氫性能進行研究。主持中科院“百人計畫”項目、國家自然科學基金面上項目、科技部國家重點實驗室方向性項目等。
目前已在J. Am. Chem. Soc, Adv. Mater (Invited Review), Chem Mater, Chem Commun, Chem Eur J等權威雜誌發表30餘篇論文,累計影響因子超過160,被引用450餘次。
