2001 年畢業於山東農業大學，獲理學碩士學位。2004 年畢業於中國科學院動物研究所，獲理學博士學位。
2004 年至今，中國科學院動物所工作。
2005-2007 年赴美國馬里蘭大學生物系開展博士後研究。
研究領域
主要以我國重要的農業大害蟲——飛蝗為研究對象，以其生態適應性為科學問題，開展了三個方面的工作：（1）飛蝗低溫適應性機制的研究；（2）飛蝗兩型轉變分子機制的研究；（3）飛蝗表觀遺傳學機制的研究。通過這些工作，來探索和揭示基因的表達調控在生物體適應環境中的作用。代表論著
