Disney XD頻道2012年開播的科幻原創動畫劇集Motorcity：未來的底特律，一個掌握技術和權力的資本家Abraham Kane在老城之上建起一座高科技但毫無自由可言的“豪華城”(Detroit Deluxe)，對市民進行著專制統治，並準備用暴力將下方的老城(Motorcity)也一舉征服。然而以Mike Chilton領銜，自稱“燃燒者”的一群充滿熱血的年輕人，已經駕著自己的跑車，開始為自由而戰。
Detroit is owned by evil billionaire Abraham Kane (Mark Hamill). Having banned freedoms including automobile transportation, Kane now faces one last obstacle: a group of hot-rod wielding rebels who call themselves the Burners.
