SAT閱讀專項突破方法
SAT閱讀由兩部分組成，即閱讀判斷及句子填空，全部為選擇題型。SAT閱讀的考試時間為70分鐘，65道題，每答對一道題得12。3分，總共800分。國內考生若想在SAT閱讀中取得理想的成績，至少要具備兩項基本能力，其一，要掌握一萬左右的英語辭彙量;其二，要有能力根據上下文的關係，準確識別不認識的英語辭彙。SAT閱讀部分題量大、時間緊，考生要在不超過一分鐘的時間內應對每一道題，每答對一題得12。3分，每答錯一題倒扣3。1分，空題不答不得分也不減分。SAT閱讀考題重點考察考生的美國大學教材的快速閱讀能力、理解能力及判斷能力。SAT閱讀除了檢測考生的辭彙量外，還要考察考生的理解及判斷的綜合能力。例如，考生已準確理解一道考題，但對應的五項選擇中，沒有一項特別合適的，這時考生要選擇一項最接近的選項;又例如，考生已完全讀懂一道考題，但在對應的選擇中，有兩項選擇都說得過去，此時考生要選擇最精確的選項。
迅速掌握大量的英語辭彙量，是為克服SAT閱讀的關鍵所在。一般而言，有三種方法可提高考生的英語辭彙量，一是掌握30個英語中的前輟及詞根;二是死記硬背各類專項辭彙集;三是大量的閱讀。國內SAT考生的備考及複習時間有限，這三類方法效率低，效果也不會很突出。
