as if 的用法
as if 從句的作用
She looks as if she were ten years younger.
It seems as if our team is going to win.
It looks as if a tornado swept through your room.
It looks as if they're looking for something.
She loves the boy as if she were his mother.
The child talked to us as if he were a grown-up.
She spoke to me as if she knew me.
You answered the question as if you did not know this rule.
He acts as if (he were) a fool.
Tom raised his hands as if (he was going) to say something.
She left the room hurriedly as if (she was)angry.
It sounds as if it is raining.
He talks as if he is drunk.
The boss speaks aloud as if he is angry.
He is a happy-go-luck man as if he has no worries and cares in the world.
You look as if you didn’ t care.
He talks as if he knew where she was.
When a pencil is partly in a glass of water,it looks as if it were broken.
He talks about Rome as if he had been there before.
The girl listened as if she had been turned to stone.
Everythings in my childhood crowded in my mind as if they had just happened.
He opened his mouth as if he would say something.
It looks as if it might snow.
As if / Like you are going to do the dishes;"like"不能獨立成句,但as if 能(完整句子為:as if that/it is true.),例子:甲:She said she would help me with the project. 乙:As if!
He looked at me as if I were mad.
He stood there looking at the train and laughing, as if to miss a train was the best joke in the world.
Mr. Coleman always talked as if he knew everything.
They talked as if they had been friends for years.
Now it is as though she had known Millie for years.
She felt as though she could hardly endure such a life.
It was as if he had lost his last friend. “I remember,” she tells her children now, “how wild his white
hair looked——as if it had been electrified.”(高二冊,第91頁)
You look as if you’d seen a ghost.
He talks about Rome as though he had been there himself.
He heard a noise, as if someone was brea thing.(高一冊,第211頁)
He ran as if ghosts were chasing him.
I felt as if the ground were slipping beneath my feet.
It looked as if it was going to snow.
He opened his lips as if he would say something to you.
舉例
It seems as if it is raining.
It seems as if it were raining.
