Styles Of Beyond，Mike Shinoda在成立linkin park之前就已經認識了他們的成員Ryu和Tak．後來Mike成名後在Warner名下有了自己的廠牌Machine Shop（就像50Cent的G－Unit從屬Dr．Dre的公司，但有自己的旗下藝人），於是就把SOB簽入．同樣的，在Where\'d you go裡面那位獻聲的女歌手Holly Brook也是為Mike幹活的～

而Fort Minor的五名成員中，三名來自SOB，一個是Mike，還有一個是請來的鼓手，也比較類似於Eminem之於D12了
