個人經歷
《破產姐妹》劇照早期的Ryan在一些美劇中扮演一些客串角色，例如《Gorunded for Life》《That's So Raven》以及《Las Vegas》。2004年，Ryan為美劇《Veronica Mars》中Duncan Kane一角參加試鏡，但最終這一角色被Teddy Dunn獲得。事後，編劇Rob Thomas建議他嘗試Dick Casablancas一角。
Ryan還在熱播美劇《House of Cards》的第四集中扮演Ted Warner。2008年，Ryan出現在電影Superhere Movie中，此外Ryan還參演了原創音樂劇《Alice》。
2011年，Ryan出演了《Friends with Benefits》。
2012年，Ryan又在CBS電視台的另一大熱情景喜劇《2 Broke Girls》中飾演糖果店店主Andy一角。
Ryan被Buddy TV評為2011年100位電視劇中最性感的男星中第79名。
個人生活
Ryan Hansen 加州聖地亞哥的El Cajon長大，Ryan和妻子Amy是美劇《Veronica Mars》中Kristen Bell的前室友，Ryan和他的妻子擁有兩個孩子。目前與妻子Amy 搬至洛杉磯生活，參加了一個名為Invisible Children的基金會。
