羅伯特·肖Robert Shaw

生於英格蘭的維斯特豪頓，逝於1978年8月27。畢業於英國皇家戲劇學校，早期曾在倫敦以及百老匯的舞台演出。1955年，集舞台界之盛名，堂堂踏入影壇。從影之初，他並未立即走紅，直到1963年，在《第七號情報員》里擔任殺手角色，充分展露其精湛演技後，才逐漸建立起影壇上的地位。爾後歲月的磨練，加上經驗的累積，使他的演技更獨具風格。曾以《良相佐國》獲得奧斯卡男配角提名。除拍片外，他對詩、戲劇、評論亦頗為愛好，並常在報章雜誌上發表作品。不幸在1978年8月27日因心臟病突發去世，享年五十二歲。
