He was born in Chongqing City in China, and he lives currently in New York in United States. He currently position is Full Researcher of the International Association of Chinese Medical Specialists & Psychologists (IACMSP). His work include Executive Director of the IACMSP; Professor and Researcher of the Institute for Oriental-Western Human Sexuality; Editor-in-chief of the <International Chinese Psychosomatic Medicine Journal>, <International Chinese Application Psychology Journal> and <International Chinese Sexology Journal>; Professor of the American College of East-West Health Science; Visit Professor and Master Degree Supervisor of theChongqingUniversity of Medical Science in China.
Dr. DENG had received M.D. degree from Chongqing University of Medical Sciences in 1984, and graduated from master degree program in Medical Psychology at the Peking University Health Center in 1987. He had received Ph.D. degree from American College of East-West Health Sciencein 2001.
In 1987, Dr. DENG was assigned to work in the Chongqing Institute of Psychological Counseling in China, where he started his experience in academic research on between medicine and psychology. He had hold the position of president at the Chongqing Institute of Psychological Counseling, chief at the Southwest Institute of Psychology Science, executive vice-president at Hainan Research Center of Life Science, and President at Hainan Institute of Society Psychological Counseling. Dr. DENG works 20 years in psychosomatic medicine, mental health and sexology fields, so his accomplishments and contributions, he was rewarded 7 times of "Chinese Mental Health Excellent Science Prize" in 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and was rewarded 3 times of “International Prize of Monica Medicine” in 1998, 2001, and 2004. Especially, he had been rewarded “National Outstanding Expert -- Certificate of Government Special subsidy” by the State Department of the People’s Republic of China in 1996.
