這首曲是由Michael譜寫、錄製，並收錄在1995年6月發行的《HIStory》專輯中。Michael在1993年出庭作證時，曾聲言他已寫好了《Little Suzy》這首歌，——但這並不一定就是後來的《Little Susie》。這首歌的歌詞，和其它四首歌一起，大約在1979年被Michael手寫在一本以童星Mark Lester為封面的私人筆記本里。該筆記本，作為超過一萬件的Jackson家族藏品之一，已於2006年被環球快遞公司及其娛樂界合伙人收購。
