Kill 'Em All原名為Metal Up Your Ass。
原主音吉他手，現Megadeth核心人物Dave Mustaine在錄製這張專輯前被開除出樂隊，但在這張專輯裡收錄了Dave Mustaine創作了好幾首曲子。其中The Four Horsemen更是Dave Mustaine一手創作，The Four Horsemen原名即Dave Mustaine創作的Mechanix(在1983年之前的Metallica的Demo中均稱為Mechanix)，Dave Mustaine在被開除出樂隊之後，Dave Mustaine隨即成立Megadeth，並且將Mechanix加以修改(歌詞仍為原歌詞)，收錄在Megadeth第一張專輯Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!中，仍稱為Mechanix。
