April1968:Theaffiliatedcancercenterwasestablished.

April1977:Theenrollmentlimitwasrevisedfrom60to100.

March1979:Theaffiliatedlibrarywascompleted.

August1989:TheEmergencyMedicinecourseopened.

October1993:Laboratoriesformedicalresearchwerebuilt.

April1996:Theaffiliatedjuniorcollegeofnursingopened.

August1996:AnacademicexchangeagreementwithChiangMaiUniversityinThailandwasestablished.

April1997:Theenrollmentlimitwasrevisedfrom100to95.

Acriticalcarecenterwasestablishedinthehospital.

June1997:WardBinthehospitalwasplacedinservice.

April1999:TheDepartmentofMidwifeCoursesopenedintheaffiliatedcollegeofnursing.

July2001:Apsychiatric,emergencymedicalcareinformationcenterwasestablishedinthehospital.

October2003:WardCinthehospitalwascompleted.

Aninfectiousdiseasecenterwasestablishedinthehospital.

April2004:TheDepartmentofNursingwasestablished.

NaraMedicalUniversityGraduateSchoolwasreorganized.

教育情況

NaraMedicalUniversity,withthegoalsofcultivatingstudentswithoriginalityandastrongsenseofhumanitywhowillthengoontocontributetoresearch,medicalandhealthfieldsandplayanimportantroleinmedicineandthewelfareofhumankindinthefuture,aimstoinstillbasicknowledge,attitudes,andconventionsinmedicineandmedicaltreatment,andbuildafoundationforlifelonglearning.

GeneralEducation:Duringthefirstyearandthefirsttermofthesecondyear,studentswilltakecoursesinliberalartstolearngeneralsubjectsandbasicmedicalknowledge.Studentswillalsoreceivespecialmedicallecturesbyprofessorsinbasicandclinicalmedicine,whichwillhelpstudentsbecomeconsciousofthefactthattheywillbecomephysiciansinthenearfuture.

ProfessionalEducation:Theaimofthecourseistocultivatestudentswithastrongsenseofhumanity,specialistknowledge,techniquesandskillsthrougheducationinthethreeprincipalmedicalfields:basicmedicine-thefoundationofmedicineandmedicaltreatment,socialmedicinethatexplorestherelationshipbetweenpeople,life,andsociety,andclinicalmedicine-thefieldforgainingextensivemedicalknowledge,techniques,andappliedskills.
Weprovidecommunity-basedclinicaltrainingprograms,whichputanemphasisonthe“cultivationofthemedicalmindandprimarycare”.Theyincludeon-sitecomprehensivemedicaltrainingataclinicinthemountainregionandattendanttraininginanambulanceatnight.
Theprofessionaleducationcoursealsoincludesproblem-solvingtypetutorialeducationprograms,integratedclinicallecturesprovidedforeachtypeoforgandisorder,andclinicaltrainingforenhancingclinicalcompetence.
