NaraMedicalUniversity,withthegoalsofcultivatingstudentswithoriginalityandastrongsenseofhumanitywhowillthengoontocontributetoresearch,medicalandhealthfieldsandplayanimportantroleinmedicineandthewelfareofhumankindinthefuture,aimstoinstillbasicknowledge,attitudes,andconventionsinmedicineandmedicaltreatment,andbuildafoundationforlifelonglearning.
GeneralEducation:Duringthefirstyearandthefirsttermofthesecondyear,studentswilltakecoursesinliberalartstolearngeneralsubjectsandbasicmedicalknowledge.Studentswillalsoreceivespecialmedicallecturesbyprofessorsinbasicandclinicalmedicine,whichwillhelpstudentsbecomeconsciousofthefactthattheywillbecomephysiciansinthenearfuture.
ProfessionalEducation:Theaimofthecourseistocultivatestudentswithastrongsenseofhumanity,specialistknowledge,techniquesandskillsthrougheducationinthethreeprincipalmedicalfields:basicmedicine-thefoundationofmedicineandmedicaltreatment,socialmedicinethatexplorestherelationshipbetweenpeople,life,andsociety,andclinicalmedicine-thefieldforgainingextensivemedicalknowledge,techniques,andappliedskills.
Weprovidecommunity-basedclinicaltrainingprograms,whichputanemphasisonthe“cultivationofthemedicalmindandprimarycare”.Theyincludeon-sitecomprehensivemedicaltrainingataclinicinthemountainregionandattendanttraininginanambulanceatnight.
Theprofessionaleducationcoursealsoincludesproblem-solvingtypetutorialeducationprograms,integratedclinicallecturesprovidedforeachtypeoforgandisorder,andclinicaltrainingforenhancingclinicalcompetence.
