擔任重慶市機械工程學會理事、巴渝學者;作為項目負責人和主研人完成了十一五、十二五科技支撐項目、國家自然科學基金重點項目和國家自然科學基金面上項目、教育部重點項目、重慶市科技攻關重點項目20餘項及橫向項目40餘項。
相關研究成果獲省部級科技進步獎4項;在國內外核心期刊發表論文40多篇,其中SCI/EI收錄20餘篇;已授權國家專利12項,其中發明專利7項。
