用法
marry一、marrysb./getmarried
表示動作：1.Hemarriedaprettygirl.他娶了個漂亮的姑娘。
2.Shemarriedasoldier.OrShegotmarriedtoasoldier.她嫁給了一位士兵。
3.Theygotmarriedlastyear.他們去年結的婚。
4.TheywillgetmarriedinMay.他們將於今年五月結婚。
5.I’mgettingmarriednextmonth.我將在下個月結婚。
6.IamgoingtomarryJohn.我要和約翰結婚了。
7.Whendidshegetmarried?她何時結的婚
8Shegotmarriedin1993.她1993年結的婚。
注:Theymarriedlastyear.也正確。但現在人們更傾向於用getmarried來表示‘結婚’這一行為。
二、bemarried(tosb.)
表示狀態marry是個非持續性動詞，它的完成時不可和段時間連用。
1.他們已經結婚13年了【誤】Theyhavemarriedfor13years.【正】Theyhavebeenmarriedfor13yers.【正】Theygotmarried13yearago【正】Itis10yearssincetheygotmarried.
2.她已經結婚13年了.Shehasbeenmarriedtomefor13years.
三、marry+狀語:
vi.時往往用副詞或介詞短語來修飾。
1.Shemarriedyoung/early.她很早就結婚了。
2.Shemarriedlate(inlife).她結婚晚。
3.Shemarriedwell.=Shemarriedarichman.她嫁給了一個有錢人。
4.Shedidn’tgetmarrieduntil50.直到50歲她才結婚。
5.Shenevermarriedinlife.她一生未嫁。
四、bemarried
用來詢問某人是否結婚,而不涉及結婚的對象
1.Isshemarried?/Hasshebeenmarried?
不與with連用
marry一般不與介詞with連用
例如：她和一位英國人結了婚。
【誤】ShemarriedwithanEnglishman.
【正】ShemarriedanEnglishman.
【正】Shewas/gotmarriedtoanEnglishman.
marryinto也可以表示（結婚）進入。。。。。。
e.g.Hewanttomarryintoahouseofrichman.
他想（結婚）進入一個富人家中。
