營養心理學,自我研究,以自己為被試的實驗方式。
研究概況
其主要研究是關於如何通過研究自己來改善我們的健康。作為一個普通人,不僅僅是科學家,也能做到這一點。達到這種目的主要方式是通過測試不同食物對大腦的不同影響。例如,黃油和亞麻子油能提高大腦功能。自我研究是運用科學來提高自己的生活的方式。隨著信息(例如,科學文章)及科學設備(如,筆記本電腦)比以往都要更加便宜和觸手可及,自我研究也已變得越來越有力,。這種方式將會在未來變得越來越重要。Seth的部分研究是關於如何進行個人研究。和普通民眾如何運用科學來提高自己的生活質量。
