Chante Moore自1992年首張專輯Precious推出以來優雅撫媚的身影和性感動人的聲音變深深吸引著人們,雖然前兩張專輯Precious和A Love Supreme受到業內專業人士的好評，但是商業成績卻不理想。但她依然得到了著名音樂人Babyface的青睞，在Babyface一手包辦的電影原聲大碟 Waiting To Exhale中為其量身定做了那曲Wey U。Chante Moore的第三張專輯This Moment Is Mine給她帶來了好運。Chante's Got a Man一舉登上流行榜第十名.This Moment Is Mine和後來的Exposed都受到了著名音樂評論媒體AMG四顆星的高評。
