2004年畢業於浙江大學遺傳學專業,獲得博士學位。
2004-2007年中科院遺傳與發育生物學研究所李家洋院士實驗室從事博士後研究。
2007年至2011年美國喬治亞大學博士後。
2011年2月杭州師範大學“錢江高級人才”。
長期以來主要從事於水稻和擬南芥重要性狀基因的克隆和功能研究,先後在《The Plant Cell》、《PNAS》、《Nature》、《Nat Struct &Mol Biol》等刊物上發表論文數篇。
主持國家自然科學基金一項;
獲得吉林省科技進步二等獎兩次。
在李家洋院士和錢前研究員實驗室學習工作期間,通過分離水稻分類重要基因Phr1,首次發現Phr1基因在中國北方粳稻種子顏色的馴化過程中發揮重要作用。通過分離擬南芥主要的H3K4me3甲基轉移酶SDG2,發現H3K4me3定位於高表達基因且具有促進基因表達的功能。H3K4me3缺失突變體的分離將為深入理解組蛋白甲基化修飾調控基因表達的分子機理提供材料平台。通過對組蛋白乙醯化的分布特性進行的研究,發現H4K5ac和H4K8ac等在DNA複製起始位點處有較高的富集程度,推測組蛋白乙醯化在DNA複製的過程中發揮作用。
