夏祥鰲，湖南人，研究員，博士生導師，主要從事氣溶膠-雲-輻射相互作用地基和衛星遙感研究，主持項目包括國家自然科學基金、中國科學院重要方向性創新項目以及973專題等，在國內外學術期刊發表論文40餘篇。
